Common questions

Why isn't the bundle widget showing on my product page?

  1. Open the Settings page in the app and check that the Bundles: Upsell, BOGO, Volume app embed status is Enabled on your live theme.
  2. If it's not enabled, click Open theme editor and toggle it on.
  3. Confirm the product you're viewing is part of an Active bundle — draft and archived bundles don't render the widget.

If both are correct and the widget still doesn't show, your theme may use a non-standard product page layout. Email us with your theme name and a product URL so we can add a selector for it.

The bundle discount isn't applying at checkout.

Bundles use Shopify automatic discounts via a Shopify Function. If the discount isn't applying:

  1. Go to Discounts in your Shopify admin and confirm there's an automatic discount with the same name as your bundle and a status of Active.
  2. Make sure the bundle is Active in the app — deactivating a bundle removes its discount.
  3. Check that all required bundle products are in the customer's cart at the same time (Fixed and BOGO bundles only apply when all conditions are met).

Can I run multiple bundles on the same product?

Yes. A product can participate in any number of bundles. The widget shows the first matching bundle, but the discount function evaluates every bundle the cart qualifies for and applies the best applicable combination.

Does the app work with multi-currency stores?

Yes. The app uses your shop's default currency for the dashboard and relies on Shopify's native price conversion at checkout for shoppers in other currencies.

Will the app slow down my storefront?

No. The widget loads a single lightweight script (~15 KB gzipped) and fetches bundle data via Shopify's App Proxy with HTTP caching. The script does not block page rendering and includes no third-party trackers.

What happens to my bundles if I uninstall the app?

When you uninstall, the app:

  1. Deletes every automatic discount it created (so they don't linger on your Discounts page).
  2. Deletes every bundle configuration and analytics record for your store within 48 hours.

Uninstalling the app also disables the storefront widget — the theme app embed is removed by Shopify automatically.
